Smarttia announces the entry into operation of Misae II, a 430 MW solar photovoltaic facility located in Texas (United States), which has involved an investment of over $500M and has been developed by Greenalia, the group’s renewable energy subsidiary. The project, one of Smarttia’s most significant at an international level, is now operating at 100% capacity.

With this installed capacity, Misae II will produce enough energy to supply the equivalent consumption of tens of thousands of households, contributing to renewable generation in one of the states with the highest energy demand in the country. Its technical characteristics position it as one of the reference solar projects in the U.S. market.

The project is supported by four power purchase agreements (PPAs) covering approximately 70% of its production, providing long-term stability. At full operation, Misae II is expected to generate annual revenues of $60 million and achieve an EBITDA exceeding $50 million, reinforcing its value as a strategic asset for the group.

The entry into operation of Misae II consolidates Smarttia’s presence in the United States and demonstrates Greenalia’s execution capability in large-scale projects, where it maintains an advanced pipeline of more than 2.5 GW in photovoltaic, wind, and storage projects. This milestone reaffirms the group’s commitment to developing energy projects that generate economic activity, innovation, and value in the territories where it operates.
